PDC (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact) is composed of diamond layer and tungsten carbide substrate,from 0.7mm to 1.0mm ,they used in wood cutting tools,oil drilling bits and other metal working areas.we can also do EDM(Electric discharge machining) to your required shape.
Characteristics: The polycrystalline diamond(PCD)layer on PDC is truly diamond to diamond bonded, and therefore has excellent wear resistance and impact toughness. It's thermal stable temperature can be over 750 ° C.
Brazing or EDM wire cutting process can also make special sized PDC.
